Brewed tea is poured into it before being shared among cups, helping each serving taste balanced. Its rounded body, short spout and graceful pouring notch make the act of serving feel deliberate and beautiful. It is not designed to filter tea leaves.

Glaze & Surface

Deep cobalt blue and luminous white Shino glaze flow across the exterior in irregular, galaxy-like islands, touched with iron-brown and green tones from the wood-fire atmosphere. The richly textured surface is visibly blistered and pitted. Warm iron-brown glaze accents the rim and spout.
